I hope you are all well, that you have had a good start to 2017.

Forgive me if I repeat myself, but it is my job to remind you of the annual Chocs for Chance auction – which goes live today!

Chocs for Chance is an auction of absolutely exclusive chocolates, in aid of Galvin’s Chance charity. Galvin’s Chance truly changes lives, by giving disadvantaged young people opportunities to train for a career in the hospitality industry. Having heard first hand some of the stories of lives turned around, from despair to a hopeful future, I cannot stress enough what a worthwhile cause this is.

And the crux of the matter, an absolutely stellar line up of culinary greats are creating bespoke chocolates that you can bid for. The auction also features extras; books, restaurant visits and the like. Just check out the information under the chefs themselves, to read what each is creating and what else might be included. The bidding closes in time for all the chocolates to reach the successful bidders in time for Valentines day – in ultra glamorous red velvet heart shaped boxes no less!

If that wasn’t enough, there is also a raffle, where for £5 a ticket, you can hope to win the star prize; an exceptional chocolate selection, masterminded by Galvin’s Chance partner and all round star Fred Sirieix, plus champagne and canapes at the romantic bar of Michelin-starred Galvin at Windows.

The wonderful chefs taking part this year are too many to mention, but include Heston Blumenthal, Nathan Outlaw, Philip Howard, Tom Kerridge and Raymond Blanc OBE. Patisserie stars include Eric Lanlard, Will Torrent and Edd Kimber. These are joined by master chocolatiers such as Mathieu de Gottal, Paul A Young and William Curley.

What on earth are you waiting for!
